Operational Update on Policy and Process, Guidelines and Health Product Management

This edition of the operational update contains the following information for our in-country partners:

• The Operational Policy Manual structure has been revised and a new copy [ download in English ] is available.
• A new dedicated web page also lists Operational Policy Notes by topic.
• The updated Grant Revisions policy can be found here.
• New guidelines on HIV pediatric treatment can be downloaded [ download in English | Español | Français | Português ] and describe key considerations for the introduction of Paediatric Abacavir/Lamivudine/Dolutegravir (pALD) in programs supported by Global Fund grants.

In addition, we have issued the following health product management updates and requirements:

• Placing orders and procuring health products for C19RM. The deadline to approve purchase orders and requisitions is by 30 April 2024.
• C19RM Health Product Segmentation Framework [ download in English | Español | Français ] was updated to reflect the transition from COVID-19 response to resilient and sustainable systems for health.
• Quality Assurance of Health Products. This web update and briefing note [ download in English ] provide information on the updates to the quality assurance policies.
• Quality Assurance Policy for Vector Control Products and Related Equipment [ download in English | Español | Français ] is for Principal Recipients purchasing and deploying malaria vector control products through Global Fund resources.
