Multicountry Request for Proposals

Multicountry funding is available to target a limited number of key strategic priorities deemed critical to meet the aims of the Global Fund Strategy and not able to be addressed through country allocations alone, and to be financed under this catalytic modality. Multicountry grants are designed to accelerate the end of the HIV, TB and malaria epidemics and to strengthen health systems by tackling regional bottlenecks and cross-border issues.

Under the Request for Proposal (RFP) multicountry application modality, interested parties can submit proposals based on terms of reference developed by the Global Fund Secretariat and partners. Proposals that meet the RFP criteria will then be presented to the Technical Review Panel for review.

  • Middle East and North Africa (MENA)

    • Proposals must employ the provided Global Fund format and be received before the RFP deadline (17 February 2025, 24h00 Geneva time), as indicated in the RFP Information table on page 1. All templates and a link to a file sharing platform will be shared with interested Applicants upon request via email to the Access to Funding Department () copying the Multicountry Focal Point, Gosia Matysek ().

      All communications with regard to this RFP shall be in writing, electronically via email to the Access to Funding Department () copying the Multicountry Focal Point, Gosia Matysek (gosia.matysek@theglobalfund.org). The final deadline for sending clarification questions associated to this RFP is 13 December 2024 24h00 (Geneva time).

  • Latin America

    • Proposals must be received by the Global Fund at the RFP Closing date and time, 30 September 2024, 24h00 (Geneva time) for the Step I of the Proposal Submission as indicated in the RFP Information table on page 1. The final deadline for clarification questions associated to the Step I of this RFP is 17 September 2024 at 24h00 Geneva time. Pre-selected Applicants will be notified, and the application package will be shared by 14 October 2024 or soon thereafter. Pre-selected Applicants should submit their respective Funding Requests (Step II) to the Global Fund by 17 February 2025. The final deadline to sending clarification questions associated to the Step II of this RFP is 13 December 2024 at 24h00 Geneva time.
